HOW DOES RAP SLIDING WORK

Rap Sliding is the most extreme vertical rope decent event. With helmet, gloves and special harness affixed to the rope, the participant moves over the edge. Slowly and controlled, the participant lowers himself out of the platform. Once under the platform the free hanging participant releases his hands from the rope. With high speed he races toward the ground to be safely stopped a minimum of 5 meters (16 feet) by automatic braking. With double and triple safeties, first class equipment and a professional Team, Sports Unlimited guarantees the maximum of safety standards. The standard height of this Event is 50 meters (165 feet) and can be used by almost everyone.

Rap Sliding is a controlled but fast rapid decent event, so the participant can face and conquer his fears. In slow motion the slider leans from the platform and controls his exit with his own hands. The feeling from 50m high, first 45 degrees than 90 degrees and finally hanging vertical under the platform, is an unbelievable experience.
